REFORMER PILATES

The reformer is a unique piece of Pilates equipment that challenges strength, flexibility, co-ordination and balance.
It has a moving carriage that is attached to the frame at one end by springs. The springs are selected to add different levels of resistance to an exercise while the client moves the carriage.

The reformer adds resistance, power and cardio training to a Pilates workout. Exercises can be done in lying, standing, sitting or kneeling. The box and jump board create fab challenges. The endless options on the reformer create really fun and varied workouts.

The resistance and movement challenges from the reformer
helps build strong muscles and bones creating the long, lean bodies that Pilates is renowned for.

Private one-to-one reformer Pilates sessions are also available at 360 Health Clinic. This approach can achieve excellent results for those requiring rehabilitation, suffering from back pain, during pregnancy or postnatal recovery or to assist sport specific training programmes to name a few.

The one-to-one appointment includes an initial assessment of posture, alignment, movement and key problems to enable an in-depth and tailored programme to be constructed.A specific rehabilitation programme will be designed and progressed to achieve individual goals and maximise function and recovery.
